We suggest to start your journey from Vilnius by train, you can easily reach Marcinkonys village by Vilnius-Marcinkonys train.
Attractions on the route:
- You arrive by train at the old Marcinkonys station - it was built in 1862!
- In Marcinkonys - sand dunes, the raised bog "Meškos šikna", the ethnographic homestead of the Dzūkija National Park, the bakery "Pamislyk ir užeik"
