Valkininkai Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Historical sources first mention a church standing at this site as early as the 16th century. Over time, the church was repeatedly demolished, burned, and rebuilt.

The current church, a two-towered building with Classicist architectural forms, was constructed in the early 19th century and can still be visited today. Next to the church is a stone-paved town square that began to take shape as early as the 16th century.
