Dubičiai Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Dubičiai Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a wooden neo-Gothic sanctuary built in 1909. It is one of the few surviving wooden cruciform, two-towered churches in Lithuania. Its interior is characterized by a bright, restrained design with folk-style elements and original altars. The church functions as a vibrant parish center, holding services in both Lithuanian and Polish. The churchyard surroundings commemorate participants of the 1863 uprising, linking the local historical heritage with religious life. Dubičiai church has been rebuilt several times, with origins dating back to the 15th century during the time of Duke Vytautas the Great.
