The cycling and walking trail along the shore of Varėna’s First Pond (locally known as “Varėna Sea”) leads to the Valley of Songs — a water-surrounded island that is a popular venue for various events. Walking or cycling along this trail, you can enjoy stunning natural scenery and relax at well-equipped mushroom-shaped rest areas. For visitors' convenience, there are basketball courts, informational stands, bike racks, swings, and climbing frames for children. Here, you can breathe in the fresh pine forest air, take a swim in the pond, or have a picnic.
