This  trail is designed for those who want to get to know the world of Lithuanian forests better. It introduces forest plants, animals, and the work of foresters. The trail is enriched with informational boards and unique sights.

The Forester’s educational trail leads through the pine forests on the southern edge of Marcinkoniai, along the old mill pond. Original recreational facilities, gazebos, and a beach provide excellent conditions for active rest. Here you can see the plants and mushrooms of the Dzūkija pine forests, the birds and aquatic animals of the Duobupis pond, and forest fauna protection measures. Along the trail, you can also learn about the plants and animals of enclosed shallow water bodies.
