Trail start: Merkinė Visitor Center

From the Merkinė Visitor Center, ride along the path to the bridge over the Merkys River. From here, pass by the Merkinė Pyramid and head towards Česukai village, where you can admire the Kruševas and Uciekas cliffs. After refreshing yourself at the clear Ilgis Lake, you will reach Druskininkai.

Turn towards Liškiava. From the Liškiava hillfort or the nearby sacred hill (alkakalnis), enjoy the impressive view of the Nemunas River and the ensemble of Liškiava Church and former monastery on its bank. Visit Panara village, known for the Pilnų Namų community nearby, which runs a medicinal herb farm.

Continue riding towards the Merkinė bridge over the Nemunas River. After admiring the scenic confluence of the Nemunas and Merkys rivers, return to Merkinė.
