Jonionys Stones (also known as the Jonionys Mythological Stones) form a unique and mystical stone formation located in the Merkinė eldership, near the village of Jonionys, on the left bank of the Nemunas River. Locals refer to them as the “Lithuanian Stonehenge” — an archaeoastronomical structure that holds both natural and cultural significance.
