In 2019 "Verpėjos“ established Marcinkonys train station gallery for popularising modern art in the region.
The gallery features both aknowledged and new artists art exchibitions, which are created specifically for the space of Marcinkonys train station building and exploring the local nature, questions of cultural and social processes.
"Verpėjos" are an independent arts iniciative, established in 2017 by artist Laura Garbštienė in Marcinkonys eldership.
The exhibition is open during summer season on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12.00 to 17.00.
