Tour at Liškiava Monastery

A guided tour is offered through the 17th-century church built by Dominican monks, where you'll explore its architecture and the valuable pieces of art and cultural heritage it holds. The guide will introduce you to the key historical periods of Liškiava village and parish, explain the arrival and life of the Dominicans in Liškiava in the 17th century, and share insights into the current state of the Liškiava architectural ensemble.

In the church's crypt, you’ll have the rare opportunity to see the glass coffins containing the remains of the Dominican monks who built the Church of the Holy Trinity and the monastery.
