Artūras, a diploma-holding painter and ceramic artist from the village of Beržupis, says that ceramics, woodcarving, singing, and foraging are both his sources of livelihood and spiritual fulfillment — a heritage that he has embraced and made his own. He primarily works with clay and wood, creating items such as vessels, vases, bowls, medals, and more. Much of his artistic inspiration comes from the breathtaking nature of Dzūkija.
