“Varėnės Žirgai” is a horse farm located in Senoji Varėna, surrounded by forests and the winding bends of the Merkys River. Spending time with horses is a unique way to get to know the Varėna region and its history more closely.

SERVICES

Nature trails – Whether on horseback or in a carriage, you’ll breathe in the scent of Dzūkija’s pine forests, gaze from the slopes of the Merkys River, and maybe even discover some treasures of the forest.

Overnight pasture stay – Spend the night in a private campsite surrounded by horses.

Educational program – Participants get to know the horses, learn how to take care of them, what and how to feed them, what equipment is needed and how to use it for riding or harnessing the horses to a carriage.

Horse rental for events and photoshoots – Surprise your guests with a unique experience — horseback riding or a ride in a carriage or wagon.
