Located in Merkinė, the family-owned restaurant “Dzūkynė” is a gourmet destination specializing in wild game and traditional Dzūkija dishes.

Venison from their organic farm is brought directly to the kitchen, where it is aged and prepared to bring out the finest flavors. Using ingredients from local farmers, the restaurant offers a taste of authentic regional cuisine — including dzūkiška banda, traditional potato flatbreads baked on cabbage leaves in a wood-fired oven, sure to bring back childhood memories.
