Educational Program “The Sack is Full, the Buckwheat Flows...”
This program introduces participants to the cultural importance of buckwheat for the people of Dzūkija. Together, you’ll mix and bake a traditional buckwheat babka, and while it bakes in a wood-fired oven, you’ll enjoy warm buckwheat porridge. After an hour, the freshly baked babka is taken out and served with a cup of herbal tea.
